My ATC is tomorrow, dreaded thing. But this year's youth camp has inspired me to go to the camp with a positive attitude For we sometimes cannot change what is about to happen, nut we can chooose our response. I like Ps Ken's illustration that say the camp is 2 and I'm X. So 2+X=? If I want the camp to be a 10 I have to be the eight. But if I go to the camp with a dreaded attitude then 2+X(2)=4
Actually I really didn't have to go for the camp, It clashed with JG camp. I was so happy. Bt when they changed the date to 14-16, I realized I'd just pulled out of mission trip. But next year I will be prepared, that when mission trip registration opens, I want to be the first to sign up. Not because I want to skip next year's NP camp, but because this year's camp will prepare me phisically and mentally for next year's mission trip because mission trip is not a field trip or vacation but a trip to fufill a mission, and that is to reach out to the people in another country, where God's word is scarse.
Lord Jesus,
I pray that You will guide me as I go for this camp, I pray that You would be with me, that my friends would see that You are in me. I pray that I will go there and have fun with a positive attitude and I pray that You would guide the mission trippers as they spread Your word.
